I am a data scientist with a strong interest in machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing. I currently work in the Bing Core Search and AI team at Microsoft, building large-scale NLP models for document retrieval and ranking in Bing Search.

Previously, I worked as a Data Scientist in the Digital and Smart Analytics team at Swiss Re, India.
I received my Master of Science by research degree in Machine Learning from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. I worked as a Junior Research Fellow and was an active member of the Complex Network Research Group (CNeRG). My supervisors were Dr. Sourangshu Bhattacharya and Dr. Niloy Ganguly.
During my MS, I worked on Spatio-Temporal Data Mining and Machine Learning. My thesis topic was Learning Problems in Transportation Network [Thesis].
Before pursuing my MS degree, I worked as a Programmer Analyst at Cognizant Technology Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. in Kolkata, India.
I received my Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Jadavpur University, India in 2013. In my final year project, I worked under the guidance of Prof. Mita Nasipuri on skin lesion segmentation.
